The T-Symbiote, Part The First.

If you groaned, or merely shrugged or blinked, then let me break it down for you: There is no portmanteau between the word "T-shirt," and the word "Symbiote." It was folly to attempt it. Folly!

I finally rolled up my sleeves and decided that I, like many before me, would grok H3's Forge, as well shed my phobia of viewing and editing saved films. I really, really like them both. I would like to go on record as stating, boldly and clearly, that the ability to edit a gametype live while playing / testing it in real time is a fantastic idea, and that doing so with up to 7 other people at the same time satisfies a need I didn't know I possessed. Sure, I remember poring over the map editors in the -Craft (War- and Star- and what-have-you) series of RTS games. But an FPS that promotes modification of itself with a reg'lar ol' console controller is real, real awesome. Okay.

The Instance! I've been hooked on this Podcast called The Instance , which claims to be The World of Warcraft Podcast, So You Don't Have To. It's true! I don't have to. It's remarkably high-quality. Its audio personalities are so articulate, rational, and genuinely hilarious at times that you wonder if these personages are fit to speak of our beloved nerd topics. They are! Evidently, they record it live(?) through a thing called Ustream ... which you might know about already, in which case I probably just sounded like your grandma pointing out "You know, they got that Internet, now... Got it on phones, even!" In any case, it's completely rad, and I've been devouring the wealth of material they have on iTunes.
