My only real memory of these books was of a GI Joe version that I can't find again, getting thrown off a ledge by Stormshadow. I kid you not. I guess I'm just glad, for the sake of my budding nerd cred, that that is what I chose as an alternative to Goosebumps. It was somewhere between playing a video game (quite before the advent of the multiple-ending game) and reading a book... about, more or less, a video game.
